RJL DESIGNS started from a genuine interest in engineering, cars, and creating parts that actually solve problems. What began as designing and printing parts for my own projects has grown into a small business focused on producing bespoke, high-quality components for automotive and motor-related applications.
What I Do
I offer a complete, in-house service from start to finish. Whether you come to me with a rough idea, a sketch, or a specific problem, I can help turn it into a finished part. My services include:
- Custom 3D modelling and CAD design
- Prototyping and refinement
- One-off and small-batch production
- FDM and resin 3D printing
- Precision laser cutting and engraving
- Ready-made parts designed and produced by me
Materials & Printing
I use both FDM and resin printing to ensure the right balance of strength, detail, and finish. Materials I commonly work with include:
- PLA for lightweight and cosmetic parts
- ABS for more durable and heat-resistant components
- TPU for flexible or vibration-resistant applications
This allows me to choose the most suitable material and process for each individual project.
My Focus
I mainly work on automotive and motor-related parts, from custom mounts and brackets to small functional components and personalised pieces. Every part is designed with real-world use in mind, not just how it looks on screen.
